Dinner with Courtney Mei, Brian & Dawn

I love it when a plan comes together!

In spite of work schedules, flight schedules & a limited window of time,

Brian, Dawn & Courtney Mei were able to make it happen and have dinner with me

when I passed through Charlotte last Wednesday on the way to visit family in Winston.

The only thing missing was Be. She had to work.

They even picked up the dinner tab - thanks, guys. It was a blessing!

Brian and Dawn are a warm and welcoming couple who have taken to parenthood

like white on rice (not sure where I got that expression from) and beautiful little

Courtney Mei loves her mom & dad SSOOO much!

I was delighted that this family shared a glimpse of their lives with me for a time,

even though it was ever so brief.
