Electric Bill Headaches

Several times during the Christmas season, we head out to MGM Studios at Walt Disney World for the Osborne Family Christmas Light Show. Seems the neighbors of the Osbornes (obviously not talkin' about Ozzie, Sharon & Family) were not too happy with the Christmas light display on the family's property, so it was moved to Disney property where they added to the original and turned it into quite the event.

The music is from Trans Siberian Orchestra which we saw back at the beginning of November.
The lights dance about every 10 minutes and people dance in the streets and stand awestruck by the spectacle.

Below is an excerpt .......

Wow, that is something else. I love the blue/white angels. Yes, I would hate to think what that costs in electricity.

Ooo..I love the Osborne Family lights! My niece and I were there the past 2 Decembers and enjoyed this beautiful spectacle. This year we're not going...or so she thinks! Shhh...she's getting a Disney trip for Christmas!!! I'm SO excited and finding it hard to keep the secret. The very best part is that her BFF and my BFF (who are grandmother and granddaughter) are coming too and the girls don't have a clue! Oh what a Chirstmas this will be! It will be a quick 4 day trip but we have an early flight out and late flight back so we can do it. We'll be at Disney-MGM studios the day before the Osborne Family lights end so we'll get to enjoy them once again. Wahoo!!

Glad you take advantage of this beautiful spectacle a few times each year! It truly is amazing and just watching your videos gave me goosebumps!

The Osborne Family lights are great, aren't they? I'm sorry I haven't been in touch. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to EPCOT during the "Food and Wine Festival" this year-too many other things going on. We're going to EPCOT on Saturday, 12/08 to listen to the Santa stories in the countries. We did this last year and it rained-not a lot of fun!
Maybe you'd like to meet?
Happy Holidays!
