Lumbering Around

Foot surgery ........ done.
...... but quite a recovery time coming up, lumbering around on crutches and keeping Netflix on overtime - watching many DVDs while elevating foot. Any suggestions on good movies? - possibly adopton related?
Pain killers are doing their job quite well while providing a rather hazy & unfocused view of things.
Looking forward to the day when we can break out the bikes on Saturday morning again .....

And speaking of TV- Is the old "Bachelor Father" series on DVD? John Forsythe as the uncle raising a teenage neice. Used to love that when I was a kid.

Hey, I hope you are feeling better soon!!

For a movie about adoption (and everyday life) I really like the British movie "Secrets and Lies".

Otherwise for a movie about China, I recommend "To Live" starring Gong Li. I also really the Ang Lee movie "Eat Drink Man Woman" a Taiwanese film about a father and his 3 daughters.

A movie for pure enjoyment, I recently saw "Miss Potter" starring Renee Zellweger and it was very touching and funny.

Happy movie watching.

Hey, hope that you're up and around soon. One film we love is a French movie, Les Choristes. music, adoption, subtitles. It's got it all.
