God's Time ....... as much as we wanted to be parents to one of the SN children our SW called to our attention, it appears that they are not Joanna Mei. There are other prospective parents with a higher LID than ours in the SN queue, so we are still wishin' & hopin' & thinkin' & prayin' that God reveals Joanna Mei to us soon. Of course, He identified her right from the beginning. So thank you blogsters and friends for your prayers and encouragement. We're disappointed, but we rest in His perfect will.

Update ----- 3 hours after we did this post ------
Our SW gave us a call and asked if we would consider several of the remaining children who were not referred out in this last round. We are praying this weekend for a change of heart in the event that He directs us to adopt a little boy - 3 have been brought to our attention, one has a deformity of the left hand and the other 2 have correctable cleft lip/palate. Is God calling us to adopt a boy? Is he redirecting the course we are currently on? Please continue to be in prayer with us.
.......and so, we merrily skip on the pathway toward adoption .......

This must be the fifth time in two days that I've checked your blog for the update. Don and Be, you are both awesome. I'm sad for you that the wait will be longer. But I will not stop praying!

I too checked in one more time before going to bed for info. And here is your news and an additional prayer request. I will pray that you will get a clear sense of His will and His peace as you make a decision. I am sure on the human level it all feels awfully difficut but on His level the pieces already do fit together. Hugs and prayers coming your way.

Oh how exciting. I know you will make the right decision for you and our family. We have friends that are waiting on LOA/TA for a boy with CL/P. I found it sad to hear and read that boys are even harder to place than girls. You will be great parents to ANY child.
God is in control..... He will lead you down the right path. Prayers are going up for you right now.
